Well... it's more that I never wanted to be the Avatar. [All saviors must ask for the cup to be taken away, after all.] I'm okay with it now! Really! But when my friends found out, they stopped being my friends because I was supposed to be the one to keep the world safe. And then, people in different places would want to be around me because I'm the Avatar. So to just be normal for a little while is really nice.

But it doesn't make me unhappy.

[Even Raphael can't miss the obvious hesitation here. Zuko still sort of talks to him, but there's this serious distance now. Katara and Toph almost never talk to him here. Only Sokka does.]

[And if filters worked, he might spill all of this to Raphael. He trusts her and likes her. But they don't, so instead he forces a smile.] I think I know how my friends here feel.

Raphael can't even remember the last time she had one that was good- she can't remember, and suddenly that fact terrifies her, because before she could remember everything. She bites her lip in thought before she realizes she's doing it.]
