TYL stuff
age/physical: Appears three years older with some new scars/etc from, you know, dangerous living. Her hair is MUCH longer and in those sick-awesome skinny dreads and yes, it's looked the exact same for the past four years.
personality: Much saner and less stick-in-the-anus but still be that dogmatic, lineface angel we know and love. Just... more human, less arrogant and damaged, and considerably more stable and sane and patient. She'll have some ability to talk about things like feelings, though her deftness at handling difficult emotions and feelings like guilt will still be fairly crippled. However, she'll have an actual sense of humor- a very very dry one, and use idioms more often! And smile sometimes! Lawdamercy. Also, use her powers to heal people.
She will still be weird. Vulcan, often emotionally incomprehensible, and distinctly inhuman. She won't be all that much better at admitting that she cares about people, but will be demonstrably possessive and protective of those people she does care about.

THE PAST TEN YEARS:
Year 1:
- Very up-and-down, a lot of backsliding and assholishness, failure to thrive, and increasing psychosis.

Year 2:
- Uses Botan as a vessel briefly, to let hers recover from the Hell-rot.
- Asks (begs) Castiel for help- by ripping out her Grace. He complies, turning her mortal.
Year 3:
- sob how do you human. This year has a lot of feelings and anger problems in it.

- EITHER 3 or 4- Botan dies and Raphael can't deal with it, and when she comes back Raphael actually hugs her. omg.
Year 4:
- Raphael gets mauled by a creature in the Wastes, and has to deal with a slow recovery. Her slowly building crisis of faith kicks into a slightly higher gear.

Year 5:
- The family event profoundly screws with her head. Being mortal means having a human-sized capacity for memory - which swiss-cheeses 99% of her own lifetime - and forgetting her own family would be forgetting the only anchor to herself she has. This marks a turning point in her personal development.

Year 6:
- Urahara, Raven, and her siblings strip the Hellfire damage from her Grace and give it back to her. She becomes an angel again! :D

Year 9:
- Castiel goes batshit during the twisted personalities event and tries to kill her. Since her old death price was her sword, she's ultimately forced to hit below the belt- at his Grace. The fight is horrible; she gets flashbacks of both her old torture regime in Heaven and of the Hellfire. She starts realizing all at once that the way she ran Heaven (torturing her brothers and sisters for wrongdoings) was wrong, and retreats into herself, backsliding somewhat into her old self for a long time.
